The Tour Edge Hot Launch C522 Irons are crafted from extremely soft 431 stainless steel for optimal feel, and are designed for maximum distance and forgiveness in a tradtional cavity back design.

For the first time ever, VibRCor technology makes its way into the Hot Launch line.  VibRCor is a high-grade TPU strategically placed inside the deep undercut pocket that creates perimeter weighting around the entire club head for increased forgiveness, power and ball speed.  Additionally, VibRCor dampens sound and shock at impact for soft feel and better control.

The C522’s deep 360° undercut cavity promotes a myriad of game improvement benefits, the most notable of which is tremendous forgiveness.  The cavity works in unison with advanced toe weighting to maximize stability on impact and provide better off-center distance.

While lowering the loft may seem like a simple solution to gaining distance, there is more too it than meets the eye.  Tour Edge power lofts the C522’s, but also places the center of gravity lower and deeper in the head to retain the launch conditions and apex of a standard lofted iron.  The result is a modern, distance monster of an iron.

When it came time to select the stock shafts for the C522, Tour Edge elected to go with offerings from Mitsubishi and KBS.  While the heavier steel option will fly lower and vice-versa for graphite, both extremely lightweight shafts will help players achieve maximum club head speed for added distance.
