The Hot Launch E522 Hybrids feature Tour Edge’s Houdini Sole Design, which includes an area of mass concentrated on the trailing edge of the sole, as well as a curved leading edge under the face.  This all-new shape creates more area to put extra mass, allowing Tour Edge to precisely position weight in the head to produce an ultra-low and deep center of gravity.  The result is an extremely high MOI rating, incredible stability, and improved launch conditions.  As an added benefit, the sole design reduces turf interaction by 35% to help get the ball out of tough lies.  Simply put, Houdini Sole makes this the highest launching and easiest to hit hybrid Tour Edge has ever produced.

Thanks to a high MOI rear sole weight, the C522 is incredibly stable as well.  The weight pushes the center of gravity lower and deeper, which in turn tightens dispersion and improves overall accuracy.  Additionally, the CG location creates increased launch angles, apex heights, hang time and overall distance.

Tour Edge equips the C522 with Mitsubishi’s FUBUKI HL graphite shaft.  This extremely lightweight shaft helps players achieve maximum club head speed for added distance, and with its lower kick point, helps fight the slice.

This is being led by innovation breakthroughs by Tour Edge, most notably the new Diamond Face 2.0 and an all Carbon Fiber crown that provides the ultimate in power and feel.

Carbon Crown

Weight savings by a large area of Carbon Fiber on the crown moves weight to a more low-forward position, producing high M.O.I. numbers for increased stability at impact. The Carbon Crown removes extra steel from the crown to create more weight savings for a precise CG location, while providing more support at center face for increased ball speeds and power creation at impact.

Diamond Face 2.0 Technology

41 different diamond shapes of variable face thickness behind the face act as mini-trampolines to create faster ball speeds and expand the sweet spot to outer areas of the face.

Hyper-Steel Face Construction

The Exotics C721 Hybrid is made with a new 450-Hyper-Steel face construction that is lighter and stronger to allow for more weight to be positioned in the center of the sole and the rear of the clubhead to produce a unique combination of ease of launch and low spin.

Adjustable Rear Backweight

A 5-gram adjustable back weight is at the extreme rear of the clubhead to help position the perfected CG and to optimize the M.O.I. properties of the C721 clubhead.

Sound Diffusion Panels

Five different Sound Diffusion Panels placed strategically inside the club head vastly improves the acoustic properties of the clubhead.
